Kerrang contents

Instantly from this i notice that music magazines deviate from the regular conventions. Instead of having the contents list run on the left it is on the right whilst the images are on the left. I plan to go in a completely different direction to both this, and the regular, and go for something completely different and edgy. in contrast to the cover of the magazine, the contents lacks a lot
of colour, it appears to be dull but manages to keep its yellow theme.

Another thing to note about a contents page is the editors note, this has no general placement on the page and often varies in size. In my magazine i plan to place this at the bottom of the page. Another feature to note is that the contents page often includes the issue number and the date which i will need to include in my contents.

The final thing to note about the music magazine contents page is its categorisation. This particular magazine has been separated into 9 different sections, whilst this makes it easier for the reader to find what they're looking for, in some cases it isn't necessary. My contents page won't be quite as dissected as this.
