Magazine title

From my research i have found that it is common for most indie music magazines to feature a name that is a direct relation to musical terms or sounds, for example kerrang is an onomatopoeia for the strum of a guitar and Q comes from the word cue as in cuing music. With this in mind i had four options for instruments I'd like to use; drum, guitar, keyboards and microphone. Deciding which instrument to go with was simple as i felt guitars are featured too heavily in music magazines, and microphones and keyboards can be too easily related to other kinds of music, this left me with the drums. Personally I'm not very familiar with a drum kit but i found a website called www.rockdrummingsystem.com/ which features an entire list of drumming terms. From that list I've chosen practice pads, a set of pads, similar to a drum kit, that allow a drummer to practise without making any noise. From this term I've decided to use 'tice' as the title for my music magazine. I've gone with this as it is short, easy to remember and its resemblance of the word entice makes it instantly seem more appealing. What i also like about the word tice is that there is still a certain edginess to it which fits in with the indie style and makes it more appealing to my demographic.
